Warrior Tim's Bio
Warrior Timothy W. Sanders
(FMR: SGT SANDERS)
O.I.F./ O.E.F.
(Operation Iraqi Freedom/ Operation Enduring Freedom)
Service from: 1996-2005
SERVICE-CONNECTED-DISABLED-COMBAT-VETERAN OF THE U.S. ARMY/ AIRBORNE-ENGINEER (ACTIVE DUTY/ RESERVIST SOLDIER )
Timothy W. Sanders (AKA: Warrior Tim) was born on April 24, 1975, and his parents are James Sanders & Annie Sanders, and Warrior Tim was born in Columbus, Ohio-USA.
His siblings are in order from the oldest to youngest: Rick (Half-Brother)/ Ralph (Half-Brother)/ Linda (Half-Sister)/ Lee-Ann (Full-Sister)/ Jim (Full-Brother)/ Charles (Full-Brother)/ and of course the runt of the family, the black-sheep, and the problem child 'Warrior Tim' (Youngest of the Sanders Family).

Warrior Tim moved around a lot while as a baby, child, young boy, teenager, and as a young man while living with his Mother 'Annie', before spending a short-time with his Father 'James'/Step-Mother/ and Brother Jim in Ohio, and after the short stay with his Father, his older Brother 'Jim' and Warrior Tim was sent back to his Mother's, but Warrior Tim grew up mainly in Illinois for over 15 to 16 years in the Western-Suburbs (Near Chicago).

Warrior Tim graduated from High School at Joliet-School District (Joliet, Illinois), Joliet-West High School back in 1996, and placed 2nd in State (Springfield, Illinois) V.I.C.A. (Vocational Industrial Club of America)-Hotel & Hospitality/Restaurant Industry Competition (In the early 90's) while attending Glenbard-West (Glen Ellyn, Illinois).

Warrior Tim was into sports while attending High School at West Chicago High School, West Chicago, Illinois (Football, Basketball, Swimming, and Track), and in Band/Choir while as a Freshman to Junior year before transferring to Glenbard-West High School, Glen Ellyn, Illinois (Football & Track) while in his Junior year, but was unable to play sports during his Senior year because Warrior Tim was put on academic suspension his Senior year, but Warrior Tim was able to continue with being in his High School Choir for a short while until Warrior Tim stopped attending Choir. Warrior Tim dropped out of High School his Senior year before being terminated from Glenbard-West because of a no show of not attending to his last class for finals back in 1993, but in 1996 was able to get his High School Diploma from Joliet-West High School (Joliet, Illinois) three years later by taking a Summer School Class, so Warrior Tim would be able to join the U.S. Army back in 1996.

In 1996 Warrior Tim joined the U.S. Army as a Private/E-1, that became an Engineer, and served until 2005. While Warrior Tim served in the Armed Forces, Warrior Tim went to Ft. Jackson, South Carolina-USA for Basic Training (Graduated October 31st-1996), from there went to A.I.T. (Advanced Individual Training) at Gulf Port, Mississippi-USA (U.S. Navy Sea-Bee Base), and from there went to his first duty station after graduating from his (Carpentry Masonry Specialist School-Winter of 1996), and from there was assigned to his first duty station at Ft. Polk, Louisianan-USA (Warrior Brigade/46th Engineers (Bravo & Alpha Company), and after two years assigned to the mentioned units, Warrior Tim was approved & put on orders for T.D.Y. (Temporary Duty Yonder) to Ft. Benning, Georgia-USA for (Air-Borne Jump School-Summer of 1999) after completion and graduating from Air-Borne Jump School-1999, Warrior Tim was reassigned to Ft. Bragg, North Carolina-USA.
While assigned to Ft. Bragg, Warrior Tim was assigned to 18th Air-Borne Corps/20th Engineer Brigade/37th Engineers Battalion, and while stationed at Ft. Bragg, Warrior Tim was able to volunteer as a Volunteer Firefighter for about a year with (Lake Rim Station 11, Lake Rim, North Carolina), and became a Black Helmet after being on Probation for over 6 months, but a short lived Volunteer Firefighter due to his assignment at Ft. Bragg coming to an end because of being injured off Base, and experiencing difficulties with his leadership, in 1999 Warrior Tim was discharged from the U.S. Army with an Honorable Discharge. After a short break of service, and right before 9/11 took place, Warrior Tim joined back into the U.S. Army as an Army Reservist in St. Louis, Missouri-USA, with the 6025th G.S.U. (Garrison Support Unit)/ and among other Reserve Units at Ft. Leonard Wood, Missouri, and while attending College at U.M.R. (University Missouri-Rolla-USA) was going to become a U.S. Army Officer, and was in the R.O.T.C. ( Reserve Officer Training Corps), but that experience was short lived to, because Warrior Tim was put on orders upon Warrior Tim's request to volunteer by being put on Active Duty to deploy to Ft. Riley-2001, and Warrior Tim decided to drop out of R.O.T.C. in his mind before being told that the R.O.T.C. would not be a good fit for him because of his attitude, and behavior.
So, Warrior Tim as a Specialist/E-4 took a break from College, and was more than willing to deploy to Ft. Riley, and Warrior Tim was eventually put on orders to deploy with a National Guard Unit-226th Engineers Unit out of Wichita, Kansas-USA. Warrior Tim then was put on deployment orders to meet up with his National Guard Unit (As a U.S. Army Reservist) in Kuwait during Operation Enduring Freedom that became Operation Iraqi Freedom, but before Warrior Tim deployed to be shipped off to a combat-zone, Warrior Tim was promoted to Sergeant/E-5, and then in March met up with his National Guard Unit in Kuwait-located at Camp Udari, and then when Warrior Tim met up with his unit, the unit deployed to a combat-zone in Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom (Camp Kansas-Iraq-Spring of 2003). While deployed in a combat-zone the combat support missions were of the following: Pipeline Missions/Log-Pac Missions/Force Protection Missions, and etc. The deployment during O.I.F. was short lived due to the famous former President Bush's "Ceasefire-Mission Complete Campaign-Summer of 2003), and several of the Reserve/National Guard Units that were not considered essential were put on redeployment orders, and 226th Engineers were one of those units that re-deployed back to the States, and we returned back to Kansas during the 4th of July, and after returning Warrior Tim was on assignment until late 2004 at Ft. Riley, and was an NBC (Nuclear/ Biological/ Chemical) Instructor for a pre-deployment training course with other Instructors who trained Units to deploy to O.E.F./ O.I.F. and after his assignment was complete, Warrior Tim was discharged from the U.S. Army Reserves (Honorably) after completing his enlistment contract back in 2004.
But, Warrior Tim was not finished with serving because Warrior Tim Enlisted back in the U.S. Army, but this time enlisted back onto Active Duty of the U.S. Army back in 2005, and was able to keep his Sergeant/E-5 rank while back on Active Duty, and was assigned to Ft, Lewis, Washington-2005, and was assigned to 555th (Triple Nickel)/864th Engineers while assigned at Ft. Lewis, Washington. Upon arrival at 864th Engineers his unit was put on orders to deploy to Afghanistan, and with what took place back in 2003 before deploying for O.I.F., Warrior Tim once again stayed behind since his Unit was already gearing up to deploy to Afghanistan, and to get himself ready to deploy, and to help train other soldiers that were put on orders to deploy to Afghanistan for O.E.F. (Operation Enduring Freedom), and was cleared to deploy to Afghanistan, Warrior Tim met up with his unit. While deployed in Afghanistan, Warrior Tim was deployed into a combat-zone in the Kandahar-Region for various combat support missions such as: Helipads Construction/ Channel-Dike Building/ and upon other missions as well, but Warrior Tim was re-deployed back to the States after about 6 months deployed in a combat-zone due to having issues with his leadership once again, but this time Warrior Tim redeployed back to the States to be discharged from a Chapter, and was discharged General Under Honorable Conditions-Fall of 2005.
Furthermore, Warrior Tim served from 1996-2005 (With two short break of service), and highest rank obtained was Sergeant/ E-5, and here are the following of ribbons/ medals/ badges/ and what M.O.S.'s Warrior Tim was able to receive and accomplish while serving in the United States Army: Army Commendation Medal/ Good Conduct Medal/ Service Ribbon/ National Defense Ribbon/ Expedition Reservist Ribbon-W/ Mobilization Device/ Global War on Terrorism/ Global War Expedition Medal/ Unit Accommodation Ribbon-W/ Bronze Oak-leaf/Air-Borne Jump Wings/Expert Marksmanship Riffle Badge/ Drivers Badge. While serving in the military Warrior Tim was able to obtain several M.O.S.'s (Military Occupation Specialties): 51B (P) (Carpentry Masonry Specialist, w/Parachutist Identifier)/ 62E (Heavy Equipment Operator)/ 95B (Military Police), 72L (Administrative Specialist). While Warrior Tim was in the U.S. Army, Warrior Tim was able to train, operate/and handle among several military weaponry, military vehicles, and equipment from 1996-2005.

After being discharged from the U.S. Army, Warrior Tim struggled, and was having difficulties with the transition back into the civilian world more so than ever, and Warrior Tim after his last Enlistment never signed back up to Enlist, but tried to go back to College, and tried to hold down several jobs until Warrior Tim became homeless. Warrior Tim has been over a decade in and out of the hospitals, and in out of jail, and has been through several upon several treatment programs of recovery that stemmed from mental health (P.T.S.D. (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder)/ Mild T.B.I. (Traumatic Brain Injury)/ Emotional/ Anxiety), and among other mental health issues/ and drug addiction, but Warrior Tim was able to manage to at one point after transitioning back into the civilian world to not have so much turmoil in his life, because the good Lord has helped him with his trials and tribulations in Warrior Tim's life. Warrior Tim became an Ordained Minister through 'World Christian-ship Ministries, Fresno, California' from 2010-Present, and then started a Non-Denominational faith based ministry called 'Faith & Truth Ministries, Inc.-Quincy House-Topeka, KS-USA' (A street ministry for Veterans) where Warrior Tim was the founder/ minister/ director/ advocate, and did among other things while helping not just Veterans but the civilian community as well from 2010-2014 (Minister/Director of the Quincy House from 2011-2012). The ministry F.T.M. was established in 2010, and a year later the Quincy House was established as well. Warrior Tim was the Director of the Quincy House from 2011 to about 2013, and F.T.M. was functioning full time from 2010-2012, and on and off from there F.T.M. was active until 2014.

Warrior Tim still has his demons he deals with each and every day to keep them at a bay, and his struggles are still real as many others of his brothers & sisters that are struggling with as well each day and for the most part all day long, but each day is a new beginning to keep fighting the good fight through the Lord guiding Warrior Tim through the overwhelming dealings of a world that has shown him things and taught him things that without the Lord, and a good family/ friendship network; Warrior Tim can easily slip back into his old was of allowing his demons to take him on a path that is dark, twisted, and with a bleak future, but the current (Warrior Tim's Writing Book Project-2018) is another tool to be able to continue with his recovery process of what has profoundly impacted Warrior Tim, and has caused him to be so passionate about helping others, especially those in the Veteran Community, but also in the civilian sector but not just in the U.S.A. but around the world as well.

Besides God in his life that has radically changed his life; being part of Veteran Service Organizations, and among other organizations as a member or as a volunteer, greatly helped Warrior Tim to have hope, and to feel part of something greater than himself. Below is a list of Organizations he was a part of and still currently involved with but not as active because of being abroad, but Warrior Tim continues to promote the Organizations through Social Media Outlets, and through Warrior Tim's Website, and in the future with the publications he establishes.
