Will those who are Veterans who work for the US government do? Will they go down the road of Chaos or down the road of Order?
What will those who are Veterans who are affected by the government shutdown do?

Since the US government shutdown has been going on for over 24 days, and is the longest government shutdown in history: will there will be any suicides and risky behaviors increased by the Veterans who are affected by the government shutdown?

The partial government shutdown started right before Christmas of 2018, and it affected hundreds of thousands of government workers. Among those government workers there are over a hundred thousands Veterans who are now among those affected by the government shutdown, and it is apparent that the Veterans impacted by the government shutdown are among those who voted for Mr. President Trump, and are staunch supporters of Mr. President Trump, and it seems many are not in support of his decision to shut the government down.

There are many of the thousands and upon thousands that are in an uproar and are voicing their unsatisfied and outrage for the government shutdown by protesting and getting VSO (Veteran Service Organizations) involved with putting the pressure on the President/ Capital Hill to make the President aware that his campaign promises of caring for the Veterans and putting them first is being ignored and not happening as what was told by Mr. President Trump during 2018-Presidential Elections where he made campaign promises to take care of the Veteran Community.

There are VSO's such as AMVETS (American Vets) who are helping with lifting the very overwhelming burdens the US government has put on the Veterans who are being impacted by the government shutdown by meeting the needs of the Veterans by helping with paying their bills, and to provide other services to keep the stress and anxiety of those Veterans who are struggling to maintain the life they had before the government shutdown.

There are other VSO organizations that are trying to help as well, but the influx of needs being requested can put a strain on the Non-profits such as AMVETS, American Legion, VFW (Veterans of Foreign Wars), and among the other VSO's that are digging into their funds to help the desperate Veterans trying to live who many have families, and are not getting a pension from the Dept. of the Veterans Affairs or Social Security or even a pension from the government because there are many who did not retire from the military or put claims in to the Dept. of the VA to get a rating for their service to a government seeming to turn a blind eye to those who are serving and sacrificing for the same government they served for while in the military but now in a different sector of the government.

So, the questions need to be asked, "Will or are now of the Veterans who are impacted by the government shutdown committing suicide or thinking of doing so, and are they who are overwhelmed by government shutdown doing risky behavioral approaches such as indulging in illegal activities, IE: doing illegal drugs, binge drinking, making poor choices, involved in illegal actives of those who are impacted by the government shutdown putting their morality and character on the line to be able to provide for their family or to just maintain a life they are use to do while working for the US government before their life was abruptly inconvenienced because of politics on both sides of the political isle or to numb the pain and suffering of not getting paid or to live in a country that has gotten so expensive to live in already, and has become a Dog Eat Dog world in the U.S.?"

Furthermore, as of right now there are no Veterans being affected by the government shutdown due to the past funding that was pushed through and approved by Congress/ Senate before the government shutdown of those who receive a pension form the Dept. of the Veteran Affairs/ Social Security, but that can change and it all depends on how long this government shutdown last, and of what those of the politicians on Capital Hill will do to either stop the government shutdown or the President or to keep the dirty politics to continue to be slung around by muddying the walls of the "Hall of Shame" to be thickened in DC at Capital Hill/ White House. From where I stand the stench of corruption and misguided politics smells with an aroma of failure on Capital Hill & at the White House.

Lastly, what is the US government doing to prevent their employees from being tempted to do things that are risky and not of their normal character of behaviors? Will there be an increase of risky behaviors during the government shutdown and if the government shutdown ends of those dealing with the government shutdown now and the aftermath of the government shutdown? Are these questions that I have raised even be looked at or even addressed?

More Serious Questions To Be Asked:

Q-1) If you are a Veteran who is impacted by the government shutdown: what are you doing to not do risky behavioral avenues that can led to chaos not a road to calm at the end of the storm?

Q-2) Again, US government what are you doing to help your Veterans to not go down the wrong path or do you even care

Author's Notes:

I will be doing a part two of blog 28 to see if there are any light being shed by the questions asked in this blog entry, and if any stories or situations that has been identified of the questions asked in this blog has developed down the road.

Thank you for taking the time of reading blog entry 28! I encourage and suggest to check all the other blogs out from past published blogs!

Special Note: I am praying for all who are being impacted by the government shutdown, not just the Veteran Community but all, and just know this that it is vital to not give up and please don't compromise your character of morality all because many on Capital Hill/ White House don't care about you, because if they did care about you there would be no government shutdown!
